Lorena Ballesteros

Her professional experience as a dancer began in 1998 when she went on to form part of the corps de ballet of the opera Aída, which was performed in the Royal Theatre in Madrid. The following year she repeated this experience and on the same stage with the opera L’Orfeo (Orpheus) and in 2000 with Celos aínda do aire matan. In 2001 she went on to become a member of the Rey de Viana Galician Ballet.

Lorena attended the Yorkshire Ballet Seminars in London (1993); in 1997 she participated in the Alicia Alonso International Dance Course; and between 1996 and 2000 she received the International Dance Course of the Association of Dance Professionals in Madrid. In 1999 she matriculated into the Víctor Ullate Summer School. She holds the qualifications of Intermediate Grade in Classical Ballet from the Royal Professional Conservatory of Dance in Madrid and the Intermediate Grade in Spanish Dance granted by the same authority.
