María Pilar Abaurrea
She trained in classical and in modern dance in the Official School of Navarra and, in 2001, received the Diploma in Classical Dance from the Ministry of Education. Her teachers were professionals such as Helena Walman, Robert Stranjner, Catherine Allard and Guillermina Coll.
So far, this 23 year old woman formed part of IT Dansa, of the Institute of Theatre in Barcelona, from 2002 to 2005; she was a finalist in the Burgos-New York Festival as a dancer in the piece Sens interdit by Samuel Delvaux (2005) and she entered into the Dolon-Ballet Saarlandisches Staats Theatre in Germany as a dancer (2005-06).
