KIOSCO DAS ALMAS PERDIDAS, Roberto Oliván

Roberto Oliván returns to his country after a long stay in Brussels where he developed his artistic work as a performer and creator alongside great professionals of contemporary dance such as Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, Josse De Pauw, Trisha Brown or Robert Wilson.

For his experience as a choreographer he has received different national and international awards. He carries out his professional work in different places; he dances, creates and teaches in Iceland, Israel, Costa Rica, Argentina, Venezuela, Korea and many places in Europe.

Poetry, movement, tradition, urban life, the emotions and sensations of our environment, cultural exchange... these are just some of the characteristics of the work of Roberto Oliván. The choreographer reflects on life and our ability to respond to it, which is the path towards freedom:

"If you have an answer for every situation then you are a robot. If you have two answers for every situation then you find yourself in a dilemma. If you have three solutions then you find yourself at the beginning of flexibility. But only if you have infinite solutions for each situation can you aspire to absolute freedom".
