The piece

Cisco Aznar was born in Badalona, Cataluña in 1972, Cisco Aznar is a Ecole d’Art Dramatique et Chorégraphique de Barcelona graduate.

Once his studies finished, he represented Spain at the Euroean Choreographic Workshop, in Luxembourg.
He is awarded a grant in 1992 at the Maurice Béjart Workshop in Lausanne, where he participates in creation of ballets ‘Autour de Faust’’, and ‘Mister Chaplin’ with Béjart Ballet Lausanne.
He has been working both as a dancer and choreographer in Europe and Latin America ever since 1993, specifically with:

Teatro Liceo , in Barcelona, Julio Bocca and Anna Maria Stekelmann, in Buenos Aires, Grupo Vórtice, in Brasil, Compañía Nomades, Paco Decina, Redha and Philippe Lizon, in Switzerland

In 1998, he takes up artistic direction of company Buissonnière, in Lausanne, and creates his own pieces:

Cisco Aznar received the following awards:
Best Show Award at Festival de Danse del Triangulo Mineiro, Brasil in 1998 - for «Adan y Pepa»
Jeunes Créateurs pour la Danse Award at Fondation Vaudoise, in 2003.
Contrat de Confiance de la Ville de Lausanne, de l’Etat de Vaud et de Pro Helvetia, since 2007, with Projet Danse team.

As a teacher, Cisco tought classical and contemporary dance and conducted several choreographic workshops.More specifically in Barcelona, Brasil e and at the Academie Nationale d’Art Dramatique et de Cinema de Sofia at the Conservatoire de Bienne in Switzerland.
